"Bunny architecture"

Before we got him a chew toy, this is what Bunny the artist liked to chew on.....not one corner in the house was left untouched. Whenever we saw him walk up to a corner, tilt his head sideways to take a bite, we'd clap our hands and yell NO which made him stop but then he did most of his chewing at night, when we were asleep.....

Bunny cotton ball dispenser

Amongst all the trash at a flea market I found this little treasure. It's a bunny cotton ball dispenser! It was only one dollar :D Who would throw something like this away? One of its ears is a bit chipped after we had some houseguests :-/

Bunny collection

Since Bunny the artist went to the rainbow bridge, I have been collecting bunny objects. I got this bunny lamp last Christmas. Normally Santa brings me crap but last year he did good :)

I like bunnehs, all kinds of bunnehs

I recently bought a pair of faux grass bunnies. They were only $10 each :D They look good in my fruit platter.

Pear Sculpting

It's been just over a year since Bunny went to the rainbow bridge. I have quite a few old videos of him, these ones were taken with my phone camera. It shows Bunny working on a pear sculpture. See how he marks it first before he starts sculpting! Pears were his favorite fruit, he'd take about 3 days to finish sculpting. The exposed pear flesh did not turn brown, his bunny licks must have had special anti-oxidants!

"Bunny BooBoo Barkbox", ceramic sculpture of Bunny the Artist & his fur sibling BooBoo by Californian artist P. Harer, May 2008

This is a ceramic sculpture by my friend Patti who lives in California. Her dog and my dog are best pals who met through www.dogster.com

I went to visit them last month and this was what she gave me as a present. I love it! It's one of the nicest things anyone has ever made for me. Thanks Patti. I'm going to display it on the coffee table which was Bunny's favorite spot.

In return I gave Patti a potato print of one of her chihuahuas (bottom right.)

First Easter without Bunny the Artist

This is the first Easter without Bunny the Artist around :( We have a lot of chocolate eggs in the house but it's the first time we've been able to leave them lying around without worrying about him eating any. He loved the smell of chocolate and even when his arthritis was bad, his limp would magically disappear if he smelt chocolate or heard chocolate being unwrapped. If chocolate was safe for pets, I would have let him sculpt a chocolate bar.

Hoppy Easter everyone.
